Lightbox and Bubbleclub present the exhibition ‘Introduction to the Spanish photobooks’. The exhibition is a view of Carlos Alba, director of Bubbleclub, who present a selection of books that create a dialogue to give us the broadest possible idea of what the Spanish photobook scene is.
In the talk on Feb 26th, Carlos will introduce ten exhibited Spanish photobooks, two of his own work "The Taste of the Wind" and "Observations of Triffles", and talk about the photobook phenomenon in Spain. Also, he will make a brief introduction of Bubbleclub, a studio apartment doubling up as an art project space in the city center of Madrid, working hard to bridge local and international art.
去年四月，Lightbox 接到西班牙藝術家/攝影教育工作者 Carlos Alba 來信，提出想主動向當地藝術家徵集攝影書，並捐贈給 Lightbox 的念頭。
於此同時，Carlos 在馬德里創辦了視覺藝術空間”Bubbleclub”，透過舉辦展覽、工作坊與藝術家駐村，推動西班牙與世界各地的藝術交流。於是，他以 Bubbleclub 的名義發起 opencall，精選了 10 本西班牙攝影書，將在本月底來台舉辦書展與講座，把西班牙當代攝影介紹給台灣的讀者。
Carlos 將在講座中，向大家簡介此次展出的 10 本西班牙攝影書、西班牙攝影書的發展現況，以及促成此次書展的Bubbleclub。此外，他也將介紹自己的兩本攝影書《The Taste of the Wind》和《The Observations of Triffles》，與大家分享自己的創作理念。
在我們認識攝影的過程中，接觸到的資訊、認識的攝影家大多來自美國、法國或日本，因此我們也很期待能透過此次的書展與講座，一窺西班牙當代攝影的樣貌。歡迎有興趣的朋友們，在 2/26 晚間前來與 Carlos 和西班牙攝影書相見歡，向他們說一聲 —— Hola！
Lightbox y Bubbleclub presentan la exposición "Introducción a los fotolibros españoles". La exposición es una selección de Carlos Alba, director de Bubbleclub, quien presenta esta exposición de libros para dar a la audiencia Taiwanesa una idea más amplia de lo que es la escena del fotolibro español.
En la charla del 26 de febrero, Carlos presentó los diez fotolibros expuestos, además dos de su propio trabajo "The Taste Of The Wind" y "The Observation Of Trifles", y habló sobre el fenómeno del fotolibro en España. Además, relizó una breve introducción de Bubbleclub y como trabajan para unir el arte local e internacional.
